Wine Tasting Kits

You essentially have three options:

1) Taste the wines at your own pace, and use our 12-page guide (comes with the kit) to lead yourselves through the tasting

2) Similar to #1, but also enjoy our virtual tasting video on Youtube!

3) Book a scheduled private hosted virtual wine tasting with one of our winemakers or sommeliers! This option is most popular with corporate events, team building, holiday wine parties, and large group virtual events.

We ship to all states except UT & AL. We also have options for Canada through our Canadian wine tasting kit partner. For AL & HI we charge an additional fee as kits must go by air.

We fill our bottles & kits under scrupulous quality conditions & full COVID safety guidelines. We sterile filter all of our wines before bottling, sterilize all equipment, and sterilize the entire production room with ozone nightly. You can trust that the wine you are receiving is as clean as humanly possible!

The mini wine bottles are gassed with Nitrogen then filled with the chilled wine, and sealed with a screwcap with a set torque rating to ensure a tight seal and finally labeled. The wines then go into cold storage before being packed & sealed.

Under these scrupulous and clean production methods, our wine tasting kits have a shelf life of months to years, but we strive to pack & ship them within days or at most weeks of bottling. We bottle weekly and keep stock as fresh as possible for maximum quality & freshness.

Before shipping, wines are chilled to just above freezing (roughly 45F), and placed in their final packaging.

We do all of this to ensure the wine you receive is in peak condition. Upon receiving, we suggest refrigerating the wines until an hour or so before tasting for maximum quality, but this is not strictly necessary, as the wines are 100% shelf stable.

The Voluptuary & Lucid 5-wine tasting kit comes with 1 white wine (Chardonnay blend), 1 rose, and 3 red wines. Each wine is in a mini bottle in a size of your choice. The 50mL (2oz) wine tasting kit size is perfect for a generous amount of wine for a wine tasting experience, and amounts to about 2 glasses of wine in total. The 100mL (4oz) wine tasting kit size is perfect for more avid drinkers, those who plan to share, or if you are enjoying the wine tasting kit with food pairings.

The 5 mini wine bottles come in beautiful packaging, along with a 12-page guide. The wine tasting guide tells you how to prepare for your tasting, food pairing suggestions you can prepare in advance, music pairings to add one more sense to your sensuous evening, literary and lifestyle pairings to add a fun twist to your wine tasting experience.

You can also add on wine and food pairings to your wine tasting kit, to make for a turn key at home wine tasting experience.

Corporate orders come with one flat rate, so shipping & tax are included in the price.

For individual orders (for gifts, date nights etc), If you order $99+ worth of wine off our website to a single destination, shipping is free.

For smaller orders, we offer cheap shipping: 1 kit is $15 or less to most destination in the US.

Yes, flat rate pricing is available for our at home wine tasting kits.

For our 50mL (2oz) wine tasting kits, flat rate is $59, which includes the 5 wine kit, tax & shipping just about anywhere in the US. The 3 wine kit is $39.

For our 100mL (4oz) wine tasting kits, flat rate is $89, which includes the 5 wine kit, tax & shipping. The 3 wine kit is $69.

Yes! We have 12 winemaker and sommelier hosts available to guide you through your wine tasting experience & virtual event. A guide to our most popular hosts can be found here. Our hosts range from experienced professionals with their own business to members of our daily winemaking team to sommeliers, circus performers & comedians!

We suggest placing your wine tasting kit order or group bulk wine tasting kit order 2 or more weeks (10+ business days) in advance of the event for ideal lead time. This allows for lots of leeway to get the kits out in plenty of time.

That being said, nearly every daily ship kits for events with shorter timelines. We can accommodate events and get our at home wine tasting kits to your team, friends or family on as short notice as the day before the event. The Classic (“Lucid”): The crowd-pleasing lineup that over 40,000 clients have enjoyed. One white, one rose, and 3 reds. If it is your first time doing a tasting with us, we 100% suggest this lineup.

All other lineups are custom and require an advance lead time and an upcharge.

The Reserve (“Voluptuary”): +$10/pp Somms, chefs and connoisseurs go crazy for this reserve lineup. Best for your second tasting with us when you’d like to try something different.
